While my work continued to be on display at Pilgrim Church in Birmingham, I actually thought February would be a quiet month before my next event in March. Instead, I was surprised by not only a couple commissions (apparently the seeds I've been dropping around town are finally bearing fruit), and not only did I sell "Rushton Park in the Snow" at the Pilgrim Church show, but I also was contacted at the last minute by the Birmingham Arts Journal, informing me that one of my works was accepted. I was able to attend their reception and received a copy of the Journal. A PDF of the issue is viewable here: http://www.birminghamartsjournal.com/pdf/baj13-4.pdf
I am truly grateful that my efforts are going somewhere. This has been a month full of blessings and encouragement. Next, I am looking forward to the Fine Arts Gallery Weekend in a little over a week, and a solo show at the Joy Gallery in Homewood, AL later this Spring.
