I'm very happy to announce that I sold my "Roman Alley" acrylic painting.
Later in June, I painted the art to be used in a movie poster for a new film "For A Few Zombies More," which will be shown at the upcoming Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham. This is the time-lapse video for that project, as well an image of the final poster, with other graphic details added by my customer. This past month I completed a tryptic mural of the apparition and miracle at Fatima, Portugal. The first part depicts the first appearance of Mary to the three children: Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia. The second part of the mural depicts the Miracle of the Dancing Sun, when the sun became multicolored and seemed to fall on the people gathered there to witness the it. The third scene shows the sun returning to a normal position after the miracle. For inspiration, I researched the first-person accounts of the children and of the people who witnessed these supernatural events, and I worked with the ideas and desires of what my customer wanted to see depicted. The mural took 5 days to complete, and the process is documented in my time-lapse video featured here: |
