Finally updated my portfolio to include a few of my recent work since this past fall. This isn't every single artwork, but this update does include most of them.
Most significantly in these last several months I have delved into the use of oils more. The painting of my son at the beach (right), as well as the stilllife of the flower, and the selfportrait below are all done in oil. And in practicing a more patient manner of painting, I've taken some of that patience to my acrylics. The landscape below is perhaps the most detailed painting of trees I have done to date. Even my portraiture now reflects the layered tones I'm using in oils, in the process of underpainting with Verdaccio, as seen in the portrait of the woman featured here as well.
